The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has given matching orders to the FCT Transport Secretariat to fast-track road markings and installation of directional signs at major roads in the FCT. Bello said it was necessary if all roads in the FCT must be navigable and safe. The minister gave this charge yesterday during a tour of the Transport Secretariat and its allied agencies across the city. He informed the secretariat management on the need to mobilize processes with a view to achieving a cutting edge, operationally-efficient and technological sound architecture. He then visited the Durumi dumpsite for impounded tricycles, Auto Pond and Recycling Plant in Gosa and the Taskforce Area Command in Wuye. The Mandate Secretary, Transport Secretariat, Comrade Kayode Opeifa, told the minister the Secretariat was working to reposition it for an efficient operation.
