Commissioner of Police FCT, Sadiq Bello, made this known while parading over 40 suspects for various offences. He said the firearms and ammunitions were in illegal hands. Security of life and property is indeed a serious challenge across the country. While insurgents and herdsmen attacks took global attention, robbery and kidnapping are taking a toll on communities in Nigeria. For instance, over 40 suspects have been paraded in Abuja for various offences. The Commissioner of Police, FCT, said that though, the Command is facing the challenge of funds and shortage of manpower, it will ensure that the city comfortable for residents. Among those paraded was Chado Mohammed, who sold a car he allegedly stole to marry a wife. A total of 78 guns and live ammunition, 11 vehicles, 11 television sets, desktop computer, cutlasses and toy guns were recovered from the suspects.
